Our ticket selling and cash handling services are designed to ensure that the client is assured that each system being used is trustworthy and efficient, to enable them with peace of mind. At Phoenix Events (East) Ltd, we adopt a professional approach, as highlighted by the following statement:
‘…monies collected by us on your behalf whether in a voucher format or cash is solely our responsibility’. Thus, any discrepancies regarding this, is fully accounted for by us.

As a company, we regularly handle large customer accounts (often in excess of one million pounds), meaning we must implement effective financial controls. Our vetting and staff deployment system lend themselves to protect all concerned, to provide a safe, uncomplicated system.

Within this service, we include:
• Managing voucher schemes
• Temporary secure administration offices
• Cash in transit facilities (plus floats)
• Gate audit teams
• Daily audit with periodical attendance figures
• Ticket and wrist band provision from bonded suppliers
• Provision of PDQ (credit/debit card) terminals: both static and mobile

• Comprehensive insurance cash in transit

When using our Box Office services, we work with our clients’ advance ticket and on-line ticket retailers, which can be combined with our other service provisions (yet do not include security staff):
• Staff accreditation
• Ticket collection points
• VIP/guest list access

This is not to be confused with the necessity to have SIA accredited personnel; a requirement which has been in place commercially since the 1960s, yet actively since the 1970s. Prior to this, abuse was widespread, due to the titles of Gateman and Gate Keepers, however Phoenix Events (East) Ltd, strive to ensure that the role of the box office is to ‘physically check that all patrons entering the venue have a legitimate valid entry ticket’. Thus, these staff will actively check individual tickets, and ensure they can be torn, scanned or punched where necessary, to ensure the client maximum revenue.

This service includes:
• Vehicle and pedestrian entrance control
• Cash in transit overview
• Fully uniformed personnel (Blazers, hi-viz coats)
• Audit control
• Provision of wristbands/tickets/pass-out stamps/counters

As a company, we recognise the importance of hosting a safe and secure event, full of friendly and welcoming staff to meet and greet customers. Therefore, we place emphasis on the smooth running of admissions, working with an experienced management team, who regularly use a host of technologies and ticketing systems to help advise you on the best approach for your event. Whether that be the latest apps to download, to using scanners, our team have plenty of advice to suit your needs and requirements to make your business/event, run as smoothly as possible.

Our ticket sellers, checkers and cashier teams use reliable processes to maximise accuracy and ensure a courteous entrance for your visitors – enabling them to be checked in quickly, to take the flow of customers and keep it regularly moving. At the end of the day, we are able to provide a complete audable report of the takings against sales, to support you and help you progress in maximising your profits.

We guarantee to carry out comprehensive cash handling insurances, to allow us to take your cash during an event to the bank, so it is not kept on site for longer than it needs to be. All of the cash handling staff are supervised at all times, by trained managers, as we can arrange the distribution and selling of programmes, catalogues, race cards and merchandise.
